Inaugural Thirsty Thursday

Ahh…. summertime is here! Okay, so it’s technically a couple days away but that doesn’t mean you can’t start celebrating a wee bit early.
With the weather heating up, we’re in full blown Moroccan Madness at the Terra Flame Home headquarters. No, really. We’re even trying to get our Facebook fans on board with our obsession by giving away a pair of Temara lanterns. (Check it out here:

So in the spirit of all things summer, mixed with a dash of our current Moroccan fix, we decided to search the far corners of the interweb for the perfect summertime cocktail. Happy to say, we’ve found it! Check out our recipe below:
Happy sippin’!

Moroccan Sunset

· 5 cups pomegranate juice
· 2 1/2 cups vodka
· 1/3 cup orange-flavored liqueur
· 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
· 2 1/2 cups chilled ginger ale

In a pitcher, combine pomegranate juice, vodka, orange-flavored liqueur, and fresh lime juice. Cover and chill until very cold, at least 1 hour (see notes). Just before serving, stir in ginger ale. Pour into ice-filled glasses. If desired, garnish glasses with thin orange slices.

You can make the juice mixture up to 1 day ahead; chill airtight (you can freeze the vodka mixture at least 1 hour and up to 1 day).

Mix it up!

Use different blends of pomegranate juice to add a twist. Pomegranate-cranberry was a win in our “lab” tests!
